Hey, I'm Melissa — and this store is really just a love letter to every family who'd rather be outside.

I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist and a mom of three — Bailey (17), Brailynn (11), and Jax (8). Between school pickups, practices, and staying up too late researching gear, I built VentureValeCo because I wanted one thing that didn't seem to exist:

A place where a regular family could find real outdoor gear — stuff that actually holds up on a trail with kids — without wading through products that have nothing to do with that.

Why I Built This Store

It started with the gear hunts. Every camping trip meant hours of searching, bouncing between reviews, second-guessing whether something would survive Jax (and trust me, if it can survive Jax, it can survive anything). I wanted a store curated by someone who actually camps with kids — not by an algorithm.

So I became that someone.

What You'll Find Here

Everything here is something I'd put in my own cart. If I wouldn't hand it to one of my kids on a trail or set it up at our campsite, it doesn't make the cut. Simple rule.

You'll find hiking gear for all ages, tents and sleep systems that families actually need, tools and safety gear for when the trail throws something unexpected at you, and brands I've taken the time to actually research and trust.

A Little More About Me

I'm a hands-on person — literally, it's my job. As a massage therapist, I spend my days helping people feel better in their bodies. Getting outside does the same thing. There's something about a long hike, a campfire, and a night under the stars that just resets everything — for me and for my kids.

I'm also pretty new to the whole online store thing. I'm learning as I go, and I'm building this because I genuinely believe in it. If you have a question about a product, or something isn't right with your order, reach out. I actually respond.
